Nothing works in this house... the boiler has never worked in the whole twelve weeks I’ve been living here, so we don’t have any heating or hot water from the taps. Hopefully they’ll fix that soon, because it’s already getting a bit chilly and it’ll be bad when the place is freezing. The cooker broke yesterday at lunchtime, too, for no apparent reason. I called the landlord about it and they said they’d contact someone about repairing it straight away. I didn’t hear anything back about it, so I called again this afternoon and they said it should get fixed tomorrow. So that’s two days without being able to cook anything. I bought lots of food on Monday and Tuesday that’s useless now. We’re living on muesli and bread and chips. Can’t eat out, no money until tomorrow when Ste gets paid. I’m sure we’ll have a nice weekend though.
Booking a holiday in Paris tomorrow for the end of next month. I decided to go there after all, I think that as long as he doesn’t make a thing of having been there before with somebody else then it’ll be good.
Now, muesli and sleep. Got things to do tomorrow.
