Many days have passed since I've updated, and I've some time on my hands, so I think I will go on for a while. There is nothing like a relaxing day at home on such a lovely Spring day. I thought I had practice today, and I know I went on about it, but it was only for principles, so I don't have to go. Luckily, I asked Curtis this morning, or otherwise I would have embarassed myself by showing up. Instead, my mother took me to Scooters for coffee and a muffin.
Just some general things, for those of you who don't see me much. As the end of semester starts, a lot of things are starting to fill my plate and its worrying me a bit. Even more worrying is the fact I'm relaxing at home. Oh well, I've worked on my philosophy paper a bit anyway, so its not a total waste. Rehearsals for Sweeney Todd start in earnest this week, and that will cut down on the time I have to do homework. Mostly I'm worried about my honors paper for theory, because if I don't finish that, I'm handled roughly and kicked out by the Honors Program Bouncer. Its a long paper about a short song, and I'm just worried that I won't have enough to talk about. Oh yeah, and I officially turned over the papers a few days ago to the College of Arts and Sciences office, so I'm now a history and mathematics major with a minor in music. I still need to talk to advisors and plan my schedule. Oh well.
Had a lovely time last night at Laura's (thank you Laura!). I just wish I'd spent a little bit less time talking philosophy and theology. Not that I didn't enjoy that, but midnight is sort of late, and its less fun when the entire group isn't involved. And my opinions were complex and it took a lot of effort to explain them to everyone. Still not bad, though. Anyway, have a fine day, everyone, and if you are doing anything give me a call or a post. Adieu.
