WELCOME R/S Shippers!!!!

This is the comm for R/S shippers going to Sectus. I will be adding meet-up suggestions at the very end, but I thought I'd first start by introducing myself to you all:

Name: Sandra
Location: NYC
Are you a writer, artist, or reader/viewer? (Or all of the above? Or something else?) I'm mainly a reader/viewer but I did a Remus water color (my first fan art) and wrote a r/s fic (my first ever fan fic and only one about R/S.)
If you are a writer or artist, provide a link to one of your Remus/Sirius themed works: It's too embarrassing to provide a linkage, honestly.
What are some of your favorite Remus/Sirius fics or authors? Definitely Mousapelli, Musesfool, Xylodemon, Setissma, Casira, copperbadge and Lupercali. I think Seven Things That Happened at Hogwarts on Valentines Day (Or Maybe They Didn't) is still one of my fave fics.
What are some of your favorite pieces of Remus/Sirius art or artists? As for R/S artists, I love nassima, Linnpuzzle and Ponderosa121. My fave piece though was a commission by Glockgal here for the sketch (go to the bottom of the post) and here for the painting.
Why does Remus/Sirius appeal to you? They are friends, marauders, when transformed their in the same species, they are survivors (Remus with his lycanthropy and Sirius with his family and until OOTP they were not paired off with anyone else. I can see them getting together in all kinds of ways(fluffy and h/c are my faves) and in any era, Hogwarts-Post Hogwarts-POA-Post OOTP too!.
When or how did you first become interested in Remus/Sirius? Through fic recs, I became aware of this ship and at first I was like what?! But I think it helped that Remus is my fave character of the series cause while reading R/S fics, I was like YES!, that's makes total sense.
Tell us some of your non-fandom interests, hobbies, or activities: I'm a designer and writer. I love drawing, writing, music, tennis(though I'm rusty), anime and mange, especially yaoi and shonen.

Thats all about me and now on to the meet-up possiblities:

There's a slashers picnic at Regent's Park on Thurs at 12pm. Many shippers are having there meet-ups Thurs evening during registration or Sat afternoon for lunch.

In order not to cause conflict I was thinking of the following: (sorry this wasn't a poll, I suck at polls)

--If enough people will be in London on Wed night perhaps we can do dinner
--an Early Dinner Sat night before the Ball
--Brunch Sun
--We can meet-up during the closing picnic.
--Mon night dinner

Please comment with your preferences and don't forget to join the comm and post intros :D
