I hadn't visited mfuarchive for quite a long time, although I used to post there regularly. I thoroughly enjoyed the series, I have a soft spot for the Return Movie premise, if not the film itself. Not enough of the partners together, and an unfortunate 80's atmosphere.

I abandoned the mfuarchive too, and before reposting my various stories on LJ and AO3, I reedited them.

The film is awful. My final story in that sequence, "Shake hands forever", is partly an analysis of how bad it is. But I was interested to use its premise as a challenge to explain how on earth they got there from here.
