February Recs Challenge, Day 26: QaF Fic
Hmmm. I'm feeling randomly annoyed by a few things on my flist today, and not for any good reason. It's just the usual opinions and squee. I think I'm just cranky. (And why the hell am I cranky? I had the most relaxing yoga class ever tonight. Clearly I need to return to my deep breathing.)

Summary: This is just a bit of Brian/Michael randomness. I'm not really going anywhere with it, just playing with characterization.
My Comments:
This is just a little baby ficlet, but the author does a really lovely job of encapsulating the complexities of Brian and Michael's friendship. In just a few paragraphs she shows how their relationship goes beyond ordinary friendship, frustrated desire, or hero worship, although all of those elements are there too. The moments she picks out beautifully illustrate why the Brian/Michael friendship, as dysfunctional as it is at times, is such an integral part of both characters' lives (and of the show in general).
This fic is very short, so no excerpt today.
