SO has been away for a few days, but he's coming in on a red-eye tonight -- I expect him to slip into bed with me sometime around 6:30 tomorrow morning. Yay. ♥
I went to the library this afternoon and came home with four novels. Meep! Chances are very slim that I will actually finish them before they're due in three weeks, but I couldn't resist. There was a time where I'd easily go through four novels in a week or less, but that was before fanfic. ;-)
Enough blather -- on to today's rec!

My Comments:
If you have ever read any of
klynie1's daily LJ/IJ entries, you'll know the power of a good haiku, and this series of poems by
valis2 has many of them. The four links above take you to all the poems in the sequence -- though I think any of them could stand on their own.
What I love about these poems is the deft imagery the author uses to tell the story of Remus and Severus, and to characterize the two men. Here, have some samples.
Remus to Severus:
You think you are a
cypher, you wish to be smoke,
cooling as it fades.
Severus to Remus:
I must tell you, a
kiss cannot mend me, a soft
touch won't make me whole...
If you enjoy, please leave the author some encouragement -- since poetry doesn't get much of that in fandom!
