3. I'm sure a lot of folks on my flist have already seen The Price by
thingswithwings, given that it has five pages of comments, but I just discovered it and the accompanying meta post the other night, and wow. It's a multifandom vid about manpain, and what a problematic trope it is with respect to gender, race, canon/fanon representation, etc. This sort of hits me where I live, because manpain is a trope that has always worked for me, ever since I was a kid. I love hurt/comfort. I love men crying (when it happens in a way I can believe). And...hell. I will never see it in quite the same way again. *clutches head*

Draco/Hermione doesn't always do anything for me, but this? This is gorgeous. It's about the years-long affair between these two characters, and what got me about it was not the hot-like-burning sex, or the wonderfully drawn side characters, but the passion, particularly the way Draco clearly adores Hermione. It's just...*clutches heart*
A Gentleman-like Manner by celandineb (Charlie/Harry, G)
This ficlet was written for me, and features drunk!Harry, gentlemanly!Charlie, and a little questioning of sexuality. :-)

Two Gay Uncles series by robanybody (Pike/Archer plus Kirk, NC-17)
Add this to the pile of awesome things for which I'm incredibly late to the party. But I'm reccing this series just in case there's anyone else out there who's somehow managed to miss the brilliance of this 'verse. I can't decide which aspect of the series I liked better: the romantic/sexual relationship between Archer (a total BAMF) and Pike, or the paternal relationship between Archer and Kirk. The whole series is funny, sometimes moving, and well characterized.
