[You get a mildly interesting sight, vatheon; Cynthia with her hair up in a ponytail, casual clothes on, and a
Gible in her lap. The gible is gnawing on a melon that's about the perfect size for its mouth.]
So! There are some new trainers out there that are raising baby pokemon. I thought it would be a good idea to talk about making sure they're getting the stimulation they need for their development. Gible here, for example, inherently has a lot of jaw strength; a baby needs to play with things that it can put in its mouth to develop that properly.
Likewise, each species has its own needs, generally. I believe some shinx were given out; I'd suggest a few pouncing toys and a scratching post that isn't electricity-conductive, since the electric power they have goes through their claws. There were also starly? You need to make sure they are given water to drink as well as water to bathe in; if they still have their newborn fuzzy feathers, you may need to gently dry them with a small hand towel.
Are there other pokemon besides those two that have been given out? I'll give you some advice in making them healthier and happier.
Silver, today you're working with me and gible here. I'm going to teach you the basics of caring for your pokemon.
