Pairings: HoMin so far.
Ratings: PG-13 so far.
Warnings: None so far.
Genre: Drama, crack, angst
Summary: Halloween party clashed with Changmin's final, resulting him restricted from coming to the party by Yunho's orders. Would the magnae obediently agree, or is something is being planned?
A/N:I'M SO SORRY! I HAD PROMISED TO WRITE JAEMIN BUT I TURNED TO WRITE THIS INSTEAD. OH GOOOODD.....please forgive me, I promise I will finish the Jaemin quickly. This pairing was something I had mused about for awhile and now I'm trying to put my hands into it. Research says that the genre didn't really match with the pairing, as most people would say. But please bear with the cheesiness and read and comment! Thank you!

Eighth “THIS IS RIDICULOUS.”
The loud exclaim from the office room made everyone’s head turn.
“What is it, Yunnie?”
Yunho turned his head up, realized that he just pulled unwanted attention up his sleeves.
“Sorry guys. It’s just that there’s this e-mail, saying that there’s a Halloween Party that SM is going to hold, and we’re supposed to go there, while we had a perfectly filled schedule that day.”
“Oooohh….” The other members’ quickly had different reaction even though they all said the perfectly same response, Junsu was extra excited to finally use his Donald Duck costume he bought back in Saipan, Yoochun wondered whether he should go as a vampire or a zombie, Changmin calculated the amount of time he should try to spend looking for the perfect costume, while Jaejoong’s face was a brooding silence.
“OH THIS IS JUST TOTALLY RIDICULOUS.”
Again, everybody’s sight went back to their leader, yelling out another sigh.
“This one’s from the manager, saying that all our schedules for that day and the next has been postponed. This means we really have to come to that party. I’ll try to reason with manager-sshi to-“
“WE ARE GOING TO THAT PARTY.” Jaejoong suddenly blared, much to the surprise of everybody.
“But Jae, we can’t afford to lose all those impo-””
“WE ARE GOING TO THAT PARTY.”
“Jae, seriously, I don’t really think we-”
“WE ARE GOING TO THAT PARTY”
“But Jae, come o-”
“WE ARE GOING TO THAT PARTY OR SO HELP ME I WILL HIT YOUR HEAD UNTIL IT YOUR BRAINS SPLAT OUT.”
No more arguments ensued after the threat Jaejoong made while a frying pan produced out of thin air into his hand. The Dong Ban Shin Ki boys are going to dress up for Halloween.

“Jae-hyung, why did you do that?”
“Did what, Changmin?”
“Get mad at Yunho.”
“Well, I guess he was just at the wrong place and time, I guess.”
“How come?”
“Well, I would never forgive anyone who would ruin my chance of going to my first Halloween party.”
Jaejoong smiled sweetly and raised himself from the sofa, walking into his room, leaving Changmin to logic that reason in silence.
“Besides, doesn’t this outfit fit me perfectly?”
Changmin chuckled seeing the outfit that Jaejoong brought out of his closet.
“Yes, hyung. That would totally go with your eyes.” He said before cracking up a bigger laughter and got pounced by Jaejoong.
///
Knock, knock.
“~~~ Come in.”
“Sorry to bother your singing time, Su.”
“It’s okay. What’s up, Minnie?”
“Not much, I was just wondering what your outfit is going to be.”
“Ohhohoho.”
Junsu smiled mysteriously and let out a wise chuckle. Changmin didn’t change his expression one bit.
“It’s a secret, little one. You’ll just have to wait until the day to see it.”
“Okay. See you later.”
“Wait, you’re not even going to try?”
“Try what?”
“Well, squeezing the info out of me?”
Changmin chuckled out his wise laugh, “Next time, hyung, try to put the costumes BACK into the closet after you tried it on if you want to keep it a secret. And obviously, the one that you hang up there is the one that you choose, right?”
Junsu’s face quickly turns seven shades of red. “Ah…” He mumbled out shyly.
“Don’t worry; it looks good on you, hyung. I promise.”
Changmin give a sweet smile, and walked out of the room. Junsu’s blush turned deeper for absolutely different reasons from before.

“Hey Minnie.”
“Hi Chunnie.”
“……”
“…Is something wrong?”
“Noo, it’s just that I’ve heard you going around the house, asking everybody about their outfit.”
“Yup.”
“Oh.”
“…”
“…What?”
“…Well, I was wondering when are you gonna…”
“Ask you about it?”
“…Well, yeah.”
“You do realize who took your laundry this morning and got a backache from carrying it, right?”
“Oh yeah, hahahaha! So, since you’ve seen it already, what do you think about it?”
“It’s heavy.”
“And?”
“It’s FREAKING heavy.”
“…And?”
“I will sue you if my back suffers permanent injury.”
“I’m gonna go watch the TV.”
“Good idea. So is your second outfit.”
“YOU’VE SEEN THAT ONE TOO?”
“I stack your laundries this morning. That should be a no-brainer.”
Knock, knock.
“Come in.”
“Hi hyung, I was…WOW that looks good on you!”
“Really? Well, I guess manager-sshi does have fashion sense then.”
I know what my costume is, Changmin mentally wrote down.
“You know, I have something to talk about with you.”
“Go ahead hyung.”
“I don’t want you to go to the party.”
To say that Changmin looked shocked beyond life is a harassing statement.
“B-but, WHY?”
“This.” He held a print-out, filled with timetables. SHIT. Apparently Changmin was too caught up with the party euphoria like his other hyungs, so much that he forgot that he got finals nearby.
“But, hyung, you know I can always catch up with my lessons!”
“Being born with a genius brain doesn’t mean it grows on its own.”
“I can learn all the lessons before the party! And I can refresh it again, the party is like 2 days before the finals!”
“Changmin, I hope you know your responsibilities as an idol AND a student. Which one would choke you for life, failing to attend a party or final tests?” Yunho’s voice grew stern. Changmin was taken off-guard, his senses already agreed to his leader’s logic. He threw his gaze to the floor.
He wanted to cry. It’s not fair, he said to himself. But before any sprinkle of tear managed to seep out, his reflexive self-control had kicked into control. He straighten his head, and his voice came out in a composed, calm tone.
“Alright hyung, I understand. I know why I can’t go and I agree. Should I keep this a secret too, from everybody else?” Changmin himself has no idea how that sentence came as easy as that. Yunho’s simple reply (“Okay then.”) came back as easy, as if they were chatting about something really light, but his face can’t hide the tint of surprise of Changmin’s answer to his request.
Changmin nodded, smiled, and walked out of the room. He walked to his room swiftly without any expression. He closed the door. He sits on his bed. He held his pillow in his right hand. He flailed his right hand. The pillow exploded to shreds of sheets and clouds of feathers, hanging in the air.
When Shim Changmin went very upset, he can only do two things. Cry in Jaejoong’s arms, or turn his emotion into anger. And when he’s angry, Lucifer is born.
+++
I hope I’m doing the right thing.
He can’t help himself to stop saying that in his mind. He knew Changmin would get emotional, he would make the magnae turn into a demon, he knew it all. He knew almost everything about Changmin. He knew all the things about his dongsaeng that gets out in public and more. He has an account on Livejournal and lurks there for any Min-related anything, He was deadly obsessed with “that angel of a human”, as he put it in his own words on his faux profile info.
But he was never the kind of person that would get lost on the euphoria. His feet were always bound by responsibilities. He never missed any job because of his internet interests. He never let this little secret out. Everytime he opened the window, he would always be on the lookout, only opening it when he was sure that the others were busy with something else. Especially Changmin. He thinks that if the object of his desire were to know about his obsession, he would just gasp and then fell over and die.
So he kept everything to himself, about this little thing he have.
///
Two days ago, a rumor break out on the forums that SM would held a private Halloween party, restricted to high-classed members of the SM group and very privately selected press, those that would be able to keep secrets and have class to not accept bribery on any form and from. The fangirls went mad.
Yunho kept a close eye, as the simple fleeting rumor bloated into a seventy page thread. Things pop out, from excruciating info leaks to fanfics imagining smuts happening behind the scene with the idols in costumes.
One message hurt his eyes and heart badly.
I bet Changmin would pick a boring outfit. He doesn’t really have fashion sense, you know.
And then the replies went massive. It quickly swerved into an AntiChangmin thread. Yunho try to hold it all back, until the invitation for the party came, with the list of press media covering the event, and the awards given for the costumes the guests are wearing, including worst costume.
Would it break his heart if he really did won the worst costume award?
Yunho knew it’s none of his place to step in, but he wouldn’t want his favorite dongsaeng to be downhearted, and his decision was to cut him off from the party altogether.
///
Beside, what happens when he wear something hot?
We were on stage when he opened his shirt, what happened if he done it in someplace else?
I don’t think I can hold back that much.
I would rape him right then right there.
