fell to pieces.

He met Yoochun on the same sidewalk where the incident had happened. Yoochun hissed, seeing his face, Changmin kept a poker face and nodded his head, saying “Hello.”. Yoochun’s fist flew fast, yet it missed its target. Changmin was quicker than he thought, and as he lost his balance and ambles down to the pavement, a pair of hands grabbed his torso and held him from hitting the cold stone path. Changmin slowly put Yoochun back on his feet, realized the face that the other boy made at him, and he quickly shuffled away after nodded “Sorry” under his breath.

“Because I liked him.”

That was the reason that Yoochun give to Junsu one afternoon.

“I’ve liked him since we were small. And as kids do, we taunt the girls we like and back then he could easily pass as a girl, so I made fun of him. I just never knew that it would have the effect of banishing him out of my social circle.” Yoochun was hanging out at the school rooftop, he stood straight, gazing at the school yard while Junsu was leaning at the handrails, looking at him.

“I felt guilty, and several times I’ve asked him to hung out with me. But he always breaks loose out of my hands. Until I lost a bet at a family event and had to tell who my crush was.” His voice suddenly breathe of anger. “And that son-of-a-bitch thought it would be fun to bother me by hitting on the same person as me.”

“Who? Yunho?”

“Who else?”

Yoochun was angry. No, beyond furious. His fist shook until his knuckles turned bare white, his face was red of flames, his whole body trembled all the way.

“He went too far, and he had even set out to actually touch that pure body. He desecrated the family name, but eviction was never a good enough punishment for him. I hate him so much. When I heard about Min pushing his body to his death, I thought I can’t love him anymore than I have.”

“Then, why all the hate to Min?”

“He actually felt guilty.”

Junsu tilted his head in confusion. “That’s it?”

“Yeah, actually…that’s it.”

“Man, you’re dumb.”

The two of them laughed, realizing how hating someone can come from such stupid reasons.

“And, oh yeah, he rejected me.”

The laugh subsided. “Ouch.” Junsu symphatized, it isn’t as if he had never been shotted down too.

“Nah, it’s okay. I totally get how he doesn’t want to hurt my own feelings, going out with his late cousin’s boyfriend.”

Yoochun smiled, he wiped the small speck of tear that had managed to form in the corner of his eyes. He punched Junsu’s arm jokingly.

“Thanks for listening, man. How did you know I was here?”

“Changmin told me. He knew you liked tall buildings and has an addiction to heights. He figured you’d be here.”

Yoochun fell silent. He silently cursed himself, for all the shit he had given to Changmin and all the candy that he got back.

He went shopping with his cousin. Jaejoong hopped merrily around the lines of stores paving the road, while Changmin was dragged around in all the incessant jumps his cousin did.

“Minnie, look, this one goes with your eyes!” He pulled a sweater out. Not even in a second he was already in the next line and pulling out another polo shirt. Changmin sighed, he never wanted to be born tall, smooth jawline, and cute face that he can never have bangs long enough to hide behind, but he did, and so everytime Jaejoong asked him to go shopping with him, he would be his human mannequin, gets dressed up and down, and shoved from store to store.

6 hours later, the sun had been gone a long time and they were now sitting in a café on a closed corner. Jaejoong had been chatting lively about all the stuffs they had bought, when Changmin decided it was enough.

“Youngwoong.”

“-and we can…Huh? What is it Choikang?”

“It’s okay.”

“What’s okay?”

“We’ll visit every weekend, we’ll have dinner together every month, and you’ll always be the first person we call if anything, anything happens.”

Jaejoong’s gaze fell downward, his smile was gone in an instant.

“I don’t want you to go.”

“I’m not going anywhere.”

“But you are. With him.”

“I never did. Because I stay here.” He poked to the left ribs of his cousin.

Jaejoong smiled again, this time of acceptance, he held Changmin’s hand tight.

“Take care.”

“I will.”

Changmin was born 2 years after him. He heard his first cry, he changed his diapers, he had practically devoted his life for his angelic cousin. He watch him grow, from a baby to a boy. He doted on him, protected him and guided him for years of his life.

He still remembers the moments they secretly shared, the hugs he glomps on him when his parents’ fight broke again, the days under the sun running around in the beach, the wrestles they had under the blanket, the special nicknames they give to each other. He taught Min life, Min taught him love.

Letting Changmin go was like letting go the left half of himself. It was practically impossible, but he knew that Changmin was not his and will never be his. It took him days and days of crying in Changmin’s shoulder to finally approve his engagement with Kim Junsu, his boyfriend of years since high school. It’s not like he hated the guy, he just doesn’t want Changmin ripped out of his life.

Thinking he would never have those sleepovers, late night phone calls, and secret shopping spree again tores him to pieces, but he held on, arranging invitation letters, ordering flower center pieces, and approving the list of presents. His long hair is tighted into a bun behind his head, being busy makes him feel important. Especially in Changmin’s special day.

He would cry in the closet for 2 minutes at lunch, got busted by Changmin, and led outside with the mismatched smile and joy.

She closed the old, dusty photobook.

“Taemin! Where have you been!”

“Sorry, Minho, I went to the attic again.”

“Again? Didn’t mother told you not to go there alone again?”

“Yeah, but you were sleeping so peacefully.”

“Oh, you know I sleep light! Just wake me up!”

“Okay. You wanna go?”

“What, now? Again?”

“Yeah, yeah! It’s so much fun up there!”

“Huh. Fine, let’s go.”

“Yaaaay!”

Changmin chuckled seing his two youngest children play around.

“Mom, what do you wanna cook today?”

“I was thinking of some beef stew for today, what do you think?”

“I think it would be okay if we add some veggies. Taemin needs her nutritions, and Minho keeps throwing his carrots to the trash bin. They are really picky eaters.”

“Okay then Chie, beef stew and salad it is.”

“Okay, I’ll go get changed, then we’ll go buy the groceries.”

His eldest daughter went upstairs to her room, which used to be his.

Chiesa was the oldest, Changmin got acquainted with the 5-year old at the hospital, a victim of amnesia. Her family was crushed in a car accident and she survived with a major concussion to her head. She was a white page, totally blank of memories, and Changmin jumped to adopt her.

Minho was Junsu’s discovery, stranded as a 5-months old baby and picked up from the trash can on their community bin. When Changmin arrived home with Chie hand-in-hand, Junsu was sitting on the sofa feeding the baby Minho. A small family was built.

Taemin was the last addition, left in their porch, crying her baby heart out 2 years after Chie and Minho’s arrival. The little family grew happier.

They faced many problems, from the way people look at them and their status, to the littlest things like what brand of pampers they should get. Jaejoong was always there, baby-sitting the kids anytime he can squeeze between his tight schedule of being a rising pop star. Sometimes he even brought the kids to work, calling them “his muses”.

Ten years has gone by, Chie is no longer the blank girl, being the president of the student body. Her schoolworks are always done in time, and she always help out her mom with his groceries or her siblings with school tasks.

Minho was the bad boy of the family, sometimes staying up after eleven only to play games on his little handheld. He would always nod when he was told, but doing it was something else very different. At school, instead of actually paying attention to studies, he beat other kids who make fun of his families, but he could never even raise his voice to Chie, and he can never say no to Taemin.

The youngest grew to be a sweet on the outside, rascal on the inside girl. She climb trees, chase dogs, and do somersaults all while wearing a dress. She likes adventuring and making little troubles around with his brother.

It’s a headache trying to put all of them to the dinner table, even more to bed. But when Chie finally stopped ringing her boyfriend Jonghyun and Minho would stop playing with his sister’s braids, silence would befall the small, brown-roofed house, and little pitter-patter of the rain would lullaby the children to sleep.

“Daddy, tell me the story of the dragon and the princess again.” Taemin would ask happily for her favorite story, well, the whole house’s favorite in fact, even though she’s supposed to be past the age. Junsu would then pick out his ancient storybook, and unravel the love story from days past.

When all was done, nothing else could be said.

They were married, lovingly and legally binding.

They bought their own house, made their own family.

Together forever, hell, heaven, or anything in between.

Their love is the chain binding them forever.

Yaaaay! I got diabetes trying to type all this fluff.
I love those kids jailbait boys from SHINee. Though they're taking a break, so that left me with imaginations and past performances of them only. What do you say if I write something else with this AU? please comment! ( ^ __ ^ )
oh, and a bit surprise not if you're smart enough to guess:
read the C in Chie like you read C in Car.
read the ie in Chie like you read e in We
change the Sa in Chiesa to Bum as in
KIBUM.

so, Kim Chiesa reads Kim Kibum.
tadaaaa! *hits self repeatedly*
