Silly Greyling
I wrote this yesterday, but saved it when I thought my computer was crashing, and never got around to finishing/posting it.
This morning, Grey did the funniest, weirdest thing.
For some reason, sometimes he gets these super affectionate bursts. It seems to be related to a soft texture. I already know he has a plush fetish, but that's it's own entry.
Well, he jumped off the dresser onto the pillow above my head, and started rolling in my hair.
He rubbed his cheek on my head, over and over really hard. It was more like he was rubbing his face all over me, snuzzling rather than marking me.
Then he began rolling around in my hair, as if it was catnip.
It was funny as hell, until he started digging his nails into my head. ;^/
He was so excited or so full of affection, he couldn't contain himself, and began kneading my head really hard with his nails, as if he was trying to dig in or get a handful of my scalp to squeeze.
I could also feel him bunny kicking the back of my head.
But all I had to do was tell him to be nice, and he stopped and ran away.
He understands "Be nice" means he is playing too hard.
When he gets too rough, I'll say that then instantly cut off any play.
For a moment, I saw what it was like to be Mini Mew, when he's being roughed up by Grey.
Sometimes Grey gets too excited and plays too hard with him too, only he seems to think it's funny and he does it even more, when Mini Mew growls or yells at him.
If it gets too loud, I break it up.
But more times than not, they both look up at me as if to say they were just playing.
This was the first time he tried to play with me, as if I was another cat.
