I hope your ice cream trucks play better music than ours. Ours wanders around the neighborhood playing the first few bars of 'Polly Wolly Doodle' until Uncle A and I put soundproofing spells up in defense of our sanity.

But the toasted-almond-crunch bars are pretty good.

I did not notice that this one played music; but it was stationary, by a beach. Perhaps it makes noise as it drives.

Toasted almond crunch sounds marvelous.

That's usually how they work. Don't feel bad for missing the music. It's not usually worth catching.

Sometimes I like almond and caramel-y flavors better than chocolate.

I don't especially love chocolate. I like it, but I do not understand the fascination.

Sometimes, you just have to have it. But maybe that's a girl thing.

I like fruit and honey just as much, though. Actually, I'm okay with anythign sweet that doesn't taste too artificial.

Some of the artificial flavors baffle me. I could write a much more convincing cherry than cherry-candy flavor.

...but I should not boast of it.

Aw, you're allowed.

Hee. What about blackberry? I like blackberry flavor.

You know, I don't think I've had either blackberries or artificial blackberry flavoring. I tried a tea once, with blackberry, but it was a black tea and tasted most strongly of--tea.

They're almost as good as strawberries.

Should I pick some for you, too, Hermes?

They'll be coming in season here very soon. I'll pick some fresh ones and send them to you.

Huu! Thank you! Are they difficult to find?

Not really, no. Sometimes you have to fight off wasps and deer for them, but that's no big deal.
