Exchange Posting is Closed!
WHEW. And with that, I'm going to bed and closing the posting for the exchange. Every person who signed up should have a story waiting for them here. If you missed yours, click here to check out the tags. Each story has a "gift for:____" tag. Look for your name to find your gift, obvs. I know there were a couple people who said they might have something to be posted before the deadline, but the deadline was 9pm EST and it's now 2am EST and...I'm tired.
Please, try and comment on your gift! I know a couple people emailed me about being out of town/out of the country/away from the internet this week and I tried to make the authors aware of this, but barring those individuals, please let your author know how much you appreciated their gift. Everyone worked very hard, after all. Even if you dropped out, please comment. Don't feel guilty! Things happen--we all understand how stressful this time of the year can be. But your author still took the time to write something for you and it would be nice if you could acknowledge it.
Roughly twenty-four hours from now, the authors will be revealed. Once the author reveal happens, you can feel free to crosspost your fic to your journal, AO3, or other communities. There will be a secret_mutant collection on AO3 that I'll link to on the reveal post, if you'd like to add it to that.
But wait! Why do some people have more than one gift?
There were some authors who were unsure about their ability to make the deadline. I assigned pinch-hitters to those recipients. In some cases, the original author came through! Hurrah! More presents for the recipient, but really all of us ;D
I had to default/didn't get my story in on time/wrote more than one thing for my recipient/wrote a pinch hit that wasn't actually needed. Can I post it here?
Yes! Starting Sunday, I'll open posting to the comm and people can feel free to post any additional gifts that didn't quite make the deadline or anything extra they've done for their recipient. It won't be anon, but I'm sure it will still be appreciated.
