So we made a hotel room reservation for ALA. First, we discover that there's a deposit required that they don't tell you until after you've given them your credit card number. So Kayla isn't sure if she has enough money in her account, so we call Marriott to see how much the deposit actually is. It was basically one night's rate, which is around $100. Which Kayla doesn't have.
So we switch to my credit card, since I have enough money. They then proceed to mispell my name as "Jaine". We call them again to have them fix it. They then mispell it "Jamie". On the third try, they seem to have gotten it right. It might seem anal, but it's important when it comes to billing information.
So yes. I didn't think that my name would be mispelled not once, but twice in a row. Not to mention I've noticed people mispelling my name as "Jaine" more and more lately, which makes me wonder if that's some sort of popular name now. I'm used to "Jamie", but "Janie"...?

Oh, also... Nicole (onyx_), I don't know if you've already gotten a room at ALA, but if you did, let me know which name it's under. I want to call Marriott and put a request for our rooms to be nearby, if that's cool. :D
