ny update
Still in NY~.
It's weird, because I think I've gotten the most phone calls while I'm here. It seems everyone has forgotten I'm in NY. xD That, or in the case of the Learning Alliance, they didn't know I was going to NY.
The LA called because they wanted to see if I was interested in helping out for the SOAR thing for Learning Alliance. Basically, helping out incoming LA freshman with little things as they pick classes and such.
I think I'll probably do it. Maybe I'll do it on the day that honmani has SOAR, lol, if I'm still in California at the time, since I'll be leaving for Japan in late July.
In other news, have finally been going out to places now. Saw Spamalot last night, which was totally LAWL love. <333 And Lancelot was cute. I also think someone hot needs to cosplay Lancelot's gay outfit during his little YMCA song type number.
Went to Book Off today. Yes, I know there are a few in California, but w/e. The NY one is huge and it makes me happy. Bought the first volume of "Kiniro no Koruda" because I know that it's a popular one. And it has to do with music. They had volume 2 and 3 as well, but I didn't buy it because the books were like... bent. o_o; I know they're used and cheap, but I'm still not buying bent books.
I think my favorite buy was "Gokuraku Doumei", though. It's a manga by Emura, the creator of "W Juliet". She also did "Michibata no Tenshi", but I never really read it because from what I've seen, it's not really my type of piece because I'm not as fond of the main character, who's kinda loli. "Gokuraku Doumei" is more along the lines of "W Juliet" in term of the tone of the storyline, with it being serious but having a good dose of comedy in it.
And apparently, there is now a "W Juliet II". I WANT NOW PLZ KTHNX. Also, she has a new series called "Gurandosan", which sounds interesting too.
Uh, anyway. I totally got off-track with the Emura thing. xD Whatever.
I went to the gym that's downstairs of my dad's apartment today and had a good workout. It felt gooood. :D But I have a feeling my legs are going to be sore tomorrow.
Anyway. Will be heading back to California on Sunday. So basically... two days? Or one day, depends on how you look at it.
