reporting for duty
Okay. So yesterday was an interesting day. And if this post comes out weird, I apologize, because apparently my brain is still demanding sleep.
Anyway. I was going to go to the Fabric District in Downtown L.A. with the cosplayers, but Heidi (my roommate) came back from her appointment at the Student Health Services with a recommendation to go to the Emergency Room. I fussed a bit about "wtf recommendations to ER?" before I told Whitney and Leslie that they needed to bum a ride off of TPZ (another cosplayer in the area that was coming down with us) because I had to take Heidi to the ER. I also kidnapped Kayla to keep me company.
I mean, it wasn't like it was an emergency. According to Heidi, they recommended the ER because you can have multiple tests done at once there, unlike a regular doctor where you have to have a referral for every test.
And so I drove to Long Beach Memorial, where I had been just two weeks before for the Kagoshima Nursing School tour (which I haven't really talked in detail about. Note to self: do that. You have pictures, too!).
So Heidi went in fairly quickly, and Kayla and I waited in the waiting room. We first went through a magazine that Heidi had bought in Little Tokyo (TV Guide) that had Kanjani 8 on the cover. And it had stuff about dramas, so we kinda just discussed that. And then we played some games on our iPod/cell phone, and I discovered you could purchase Phoenix Wright for cellphone.
It took about two hours and a half for Heidi to be done, and it was kind of weird because they only did a CT scan. But apparently she also got shot up with valium in one of her arms and got a perscription for pain killers.
So we left, went to eat, dropped off Heidi's perscription at CVS, and then went to Target. After we got back to the dorms, the three of us crashed into our beds for a nap around 4 p.m.
We woke up and went out to eat around 7 p.m. (with everyone since Whitney and Leslie had come back). Then Heidi took her pain killer and we went back to the dorm. And we just had one of those nights where you laze around and do crazy stuff in-between falling asleep.
Oh, and Heidi got high off of the pain killers. It was highly fascinating. We have video evidence of her trying to molest Leslie.
But yes. And then around 1 a.m. in the morning when I was actually trying to go to bed for real, I go to close my window. I hear... a guitar? So I peer out, and I see a guy right outside of my window playing a guitar at me. Of course, I do not know him. I "wtf" and close the curtain before telling Heidi. And so I decide to just close the window all the way, and I look out and the guy's still there, and I think I remember him asking me if I was male or female. But I didn't say anything, saw that there were around 10 people out in the courtyard (wtf) and just...closed the window and ignored them.
That was my wtf for the day. Even if it was only 1 a.m.
