Jason rolled his shoulders. He was dealing with his own issues of being "normal" now. Sometimes he could feel a resurgence of his godly blood but most of the time it laid dormant within him. It felt good to work with Minako though and let off some steam in that regard. It was also nice to know that he still retained some of his reflexes and skills just from training and that it wasn't all from his godly parentage. "No problem. It's good for both of us ( ... )

Minako was quick to follow him, definitely not wanting to be standing around while whatever was going on happened. She abandoned her towel and water bottle, hurrying to his side.

"I didn't think so either," she murmured. They'd been through a lot in this Chicago, however, so she just began to expect the worse.

Jason pushed open the door and was greeted by rolling clouds of dust and debris. He coughed and sputtered, immediately bringing his hand up to cover his face. As the dust started to settle he peered out into the skyline and saw one of the larger sky scrappers toppling over. Jason's eyes widened as the ground continued to shake and he turned his head in time to see a nearby building starting to fall.

As he started to see it crack and break he realized something bad...the building would crush them if they didn't start running now. As soon as the thought popped in his head a large piece of the building broke off and crashed into the concrete just across the street. "Run!"

Jason grabbed Minako's hand and started in the OTHER direction of the destruction.

Minako covered her face as the dust and debris hit them, coughing a bit. But when it cleared, she was too stunned to really think properly. Her eyes were wide and she was frozen with fear ( ... )
