Clare didn't take well to her room in the Blackstone when she first arrived. Home, her parents, her friends, thoughts of all she missed swirled her mind like an angry angsty lonely cloud. Tonight, her first night at the Hard Rock? She missed her room at the Blackstone, this hotel was so... different. She stared at the ceiling noting how it wasn't the Blackstone's ceiling, that the dresser and closet weren't the same either. This was ridiculous, it was a hotel room, not a real home. Clare finally, nearing midnight, grabbed her pillow and comforter... as well as her sword because it was still Chicago, and set out down the halls in her pajamas.

Her feet brought her to Minako's room, where Clare stood outside the door trying to decide how to ask this without it either coming out wrong, coming out really wrong, or coming out pathetic. How could she even complain, she at least still had her sword which Minako... didn't. Sure, Clare lost a home but Minako was probably still not used to losing an aspect of herself. This was stupid and she should just go find someone else.

...But she really didn't want to stay in her room, alone, all night. Thinking about how Minako wasn't okay, and her thoughts on 'someone else' brought her to Fiona (who had Declan staying with her, awkward), Kairi (awkward AND probably still upset over Sora which was Clare's fault), and boys (...no). So it really was Minako or bust. Clare stared at the door a few long moments before finally lifting her hand that had a comforter hanging from it and knocked loudly. Clare looked at the door through silver frames hoping somehow the glasses might hide her eyes. This was so embarrassing, maybe she should just lie and suggest a more positive reason for the late night visit.

Still, she had knocked, now all there was to do was wait.
