Starr had been calmly brushing her teeth in the bathroom when she'd caught the blur of a girl falling from her ceiling and then through her floor. She blinked in surprise and spun around, toothbrush hanging out of her mouth, "Huh?"
You would think after seeing trolls and fairies she'd be used to strange things here. But, no, Starr was still baffled every time something unexpected happen. She took it in stride, mostly. Although, she had to wonder why a girl had just fallen through her ceiling and floor. Starr looked up, there wasn't a hole or anything. She knelt down and tapped the floor with her hand, nope...nothing.
Starr sighed, she knew she was going to have to look into this. She rinsed out the toothpaste from her mouth and then headed for the lobby, hopefully she hadn't been the only one to see that. Starr really didn't want to believe she was going crazy now of all times.
She made her way downstairs and noticed Spin talking to a girl. "Hey, this is going to sound crazy but I think I just saw someone fall through my bathroom ceiling and there wasn't a hole or anything." She paused, looking from Spin to the girl, "Do you think there are ghost here too?"

"Um. Yeah, sorry, that was me," said Kitty, raising her hand and blushing a little after Starr arrived. "I kinda... do that. Well. I don't usually fall, but I can walk through things. I was startled awake and..." she bit her lip a little. "Lost control for a second there. Sorry if I scared you." She tried to smooth down her hair a bit.
Spin gave a grin and a wave to his coworker as she arrived. "Nothing to worry about, yeah, just a little argument with physics, is all." He paused, before shrugging. "Though, I wouldn't be surprised if there are ghosts. Seems like something this place would cook up."
He took a step in between them. "Kitty, this is Starr, Starr, Kitty. Starr and I work together, and Kitty and I... met." Maybe he really wasn't the best candidate for introductions, but it felt like the right thing to do anyway.
"Oh," Starr said, raising an eyebrow. She hadn't expected the mystery to be solved so easily. She gave the girl a once over. She looked athletic and was clearly around Starr's own age. Starr broke into an easy smile, "No biggie. I was more startled than anything." It'd take a lot more than a ghost falling through the ceiling to scare Starr.
Starr nodded at Spin, "I suppose a ghost wouldn't be too far fetched."
She then turned her attention back to Kitty, "What he said. I'm not sure if you can really count us as 'old' yet since we've only been here a few weeks ourselves."
Kitty remembered the hair elastic she had around her wrist, and tamed her morning 'do into a loose ponytail. Ugh, she needed some serious conditioning soon.
"Well, it's nice to meet my new 'neighbors,' so to speak," she said with a laugh. "I'll try to keep the early morning visits to a minimum in the future," she promised.
