SWOOSH! "EEP" SWOOSH!
A blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance by one startled mutant. Not only startled, but embarrassed. She hadn't phased in her sleep since she was fourteen! Either phasing that missile had put more stress on her power control than she'd thought, or being stuck in another reality was playing havoc with it. Or possibly a little bit of both.
Either way, she was not happy. Plummeting through floors and ceilings was not a fun way to start one's day... even if it did make an alarm clock somewhat redundant, thanks to the adrenaline rush that was now guaranteeing that she wouldn't be sleeping in today!
A few seconds after her short appearance in the lobby, she re-appeared, climbing up through the floor, dressed in sweatpants and a Cubs logo t-shirt with bare feet and a serious case of bed-head.
"Yep. That sucked." She started towards the stairs, because now that she'd gotten herself solid again, she wasn't going to risk another loss of control by taking the short cut back upstairs.
