Toothless was curled up under his tree, cautiously watching as more Vikings arrived. The one he'd been waiting for for who knew how long still hadn't shown up, and he was starting to get frustrated. Being grounded again so soon after he and Hiccup had flown... It was unbearable, and left him more restless than ever. He wanted to fly, but the only way that would happen again would be if Hiccup showed up.
He glared down at his tail and the useless fin attached to it, flopping around as he moved. Without a rider, it was just an irritating, dead weight, and a painful reminder of Berk. While he certainly didn't mind being free from the Green Death's influence, everything he knew was gone. There weren't even any other dragons here - at least, none that he knew of.
It was lonely here.
