Characters: Toph, Axel, anyone who wants to bump in to them.
Time: Late afternoon? It sounds good to me anyway.
Location: Starting in the Blackstone hotel's lobby, but could move elsewhere.
Content: Toph is convinced Axel is fighting for the Fire Nation after talking to him through the communication devise. The only way she'll know for sure is to meet him face-to-face.
Format: I'm using prose, but if it changes, it's no biggy.
Warnings: This could escalate to a fight, but I doubt it. Toph is still grumpy from being cooped up though, so you might want to bring a hard-hat.
Toph stuffed her re-programmed communicator in her pocket and ran downstairs from her hotel room she shared with Link to the lobby of the Blackstone Hotel. She had never heard a name like 'Axel' before, and it didn't sound like a name given to anyone from the Fire Nation, but this guy said he was a firebender. Well, he sort of said he was a firebender, and Toph just had to check this guy out. Twinkletoes and the others might not be here, but that didn't matter. On the one hand, it gave Toph an excuse to get out. She hated being cramped up in that stupid building no matter how big it was. Secondly, now that this guy knew she was an earthbender, he could come and try to ambush her. Not that he could, but Toph just wanted him out of the way.
His test would be quite simple. She'd ask him again about the Avatar and the Fire Nation, and if he responded in the negative while the signs of lying were absent, then he passed. Then, he;d have to explain how he used fire. He better hope his answers would be satisfactory to the earthbender.
Toph made it down to the lobby and waited just to the side of the front desk.
