Sailing Sailing Over the Bounding Main [OPEN]

Time: Mid-day...because nothing bad happens in the daytime, right?
Location: Chicago Harbour. Right along S. Lake Shore --> Open Water/ON A BOAT
Content: Starr puts together a team to take to the water and see where it gets them...hopefully not sunk.
Format: Action!!...but prose is cool too

Note: We'll do a few boarding posts but I want to get on the water ASAP, so if we set sail before you're aboard feel free to jump in anyway and hand-wave it...well...within reason.
IMPORTANT: I've been informed by mod that this log takes place at the same time as the MYSTERY PLOT thread. So if you signed your character up for that you may want to refrain from involving them in this.
[Starr climbed up on the boat she had found designated 'Water Beetle' she was glad to be loaned a vessel instead of having to acquire one herself. It looks like a good enough ship and Starr started roaming the deck to familiarize herself with the vessel.
She would give the volunteers about an hour to meet her here before casting off. There had been a lot of people interested and she just hoped they followed through on their word.
In the meantime she was checking the boat and preparing for what could potentially be a dangerous trip]
