But that's all stressful stuff and what I really wanted to say here was thank you Sis for cluing me in to a good manga. She told me about 1/2 Prince (also written Half-Prince, 1/2 Ouji) a couple weeks ago. It's about a girl and her brother who play a virtual reality fantasy game. The brother accuses her of abusing her feminine wiles to get ahead, so she starts a male character and vows to become a legend. One cool encounter has the main character run into an NPC who is aware he's an NPC and that his role is tragic. They set off to rescue his love, knowing the storyline says they will find her grave. When they do, the NPC says, "If I hadn't come here, she wouldn't have died!" Very existential, that.
Found a partial translation of the novel that spawned the manga. Worked today. That's about it.
