Mother's Day
To everyone that is a mother: Happy Mothers Day!!
How did today go for me??...Well, I spent it with Alan and we had our ups and downs...Good times and bad times/Special moments and moments I about killed him.. We did McDonalds for Breakfast together...I called my Mom, Sister, and Friends and wished them a Happy Mother's Day.....We went to several stores today and got a great deal on Can RED & White Clam soup and White & REd Crab soup & Shrimp Bisque...A fancy brand that costs $2.50 a can normallly for .50 cents..a can. in Walmart..Where else? (besides the wonderful Bread/Pastry cart specials..they also do discount carts on food...)..God I must of brought about 24 cans...no lie...The things I can make with them sauces, dips or just use em as soups...Yum....
Later Alan and I went to see Mamaw :"Maude" in the nursing home. We got her a card, brought her some mothers day cupcakes and cut some Roses from her husbands garden for her. ( Again...for those of you that might not remember...her husband died and she moved into a nursing home. A friend of the family brought the property and remolded the house and is selling it. ) They dont really care if every so often we cut a few roses from her husbands Rose Garden, which still blooms every year...I did this last year also, but thought it would be nice to give her flowers from her husbands Max's garden...I also cut a few for myself...
Mothers day is kinda sad for me, I spend it alone with my son...while everyone has alot of family and friends to visit or invite over....This mothers day was particually sad for me..since I am also depressed over losing my "Work" Chris..
Alan had his really bad moments today , and as much as I tried to keep my cool..somethings really got on my nerves after a while and I really exploded...and felt bad about yelling later...I know this is all comming from the way I am feeling about work Chris and losing him...I really have not had time to be alone & greive since Monday. I guess I have been keeping really busy trying to run away from the pain...& everything else that has been surficing lately...So it comes out when something gets on my nerves....
..I must say at other times he did and said some really cute things...He drew me some flowers to cheer me up also.
He discovered centipedes or Rolly Polly Bugs today and found out how they curled into a ball when he touched them...Oh the joys of boys and bugs....
We ate Steak tonight, smashed pototoes and brocolli and bread./..Oreo Ice cream for dessert..his choice of icecream from Walmart...The night before we did Spagetti and Clam sauce. Food what a great subject to talk about right after bugs...
Oh and since I was gone all day Friday, I never heard about the Tornado that actually touched down and took the roof off Alans providers office? It happened at 3am in the morning on Friday...Thank god no one was hurt...
