Hello world.
I was recently chided for not posting in ... well, forever-ish. So, here is what might be a rebirth of my journal.
Why did I stop posting? Well, three reasons. My trip to India a couple years ago broke many habits - some good, some bad. Posting and reading LJ was one of them. I started playing facebook games (not - not really reading facebook, since FB doesn't really have much actual content, and playing games, the S-R ratio combined with FB's odd choice of choosing what content to present means I don't see much of what people post. Lastly, LJ broke and replaced with an inferior tool the Scrapbook feature.
One of my prides is (was) the way my life list works here, combined with the pics. This usually uses tags (so I can include more than one picture in a link, but can leave the pics in appropriate album), a feature which went away, was briefly brought back, and then removed again. I should also note that scrapbook seems to have removed the ability to layer albums (like "California", containing "CA 2009", "CA 2010", "Sea World". and so on). I am still looking for a new photo repository with the tagging to replace Scrapbook.
Anyway, I'll try to keep up - I do have a bunch of stuff to catch up on, so finding content (that at least interests me) won't be hard.
