A trip to the Seavey Island Tern Restoration Project

Jul 11, 2010 12:01

Here are a handful of pictures from yesterday's trip. While the weather turned bad, and the trip was cut a little short, and wasn't quite so idyllic on the way home, it was a very interesting day, and I love some of my pictures. As a side note, with the days sightings, my NH list reached an even 200. Besides the terns (two state birds for me), I also found an Atlantic Puffin - an excellent find in NH, since they don't nest south of Eastern Egg Island in Maine.

Ask me if you want to know more about what the project is, and why terns need to be restored.
