Day 4 of 6

Aug 13, 2006 23:19

So today is kind of "hump day". I slept much better this morning, as the bedroom was cool enough to close and cover the window to make it darker. That's kind of a jury-rigged thing for now, we'll be able to do better when we can put some time into it and do it right. Also, Oso didn't try to wake me up as much today, which was welcome, and Nieve wasn't on the bed with a ball waiting for me to wake up either. Snowflake spent a good chunk of the day on the bed with me, and even tried to cuddle once until I moved a little (which was scary, I guess).

I vacuumed the kitchen and a good chunk of wren13's office because it was almost like walking on a beach. That lasted a day, until mud-puppy started rebuilding her track collection. *sigh*

Matt called in sick tonight (he was at last night's Patriots pre-season game), but Paul came in around 9pm to cover. Sundays are generally slow, although we have a conf. bridge going now, so even if he leaves early, the inconvenience of working alone the part of the night is less than the benefit of the extra half-hour on both sides from working in Merrimack instead of Boston.

The dogs wanted cuddle time (in between chewing on each other) this morning, so I watched this week's episode of Psych. I'm still lovin' this show folks. This episode was about a death (murder?) at a Civil War battle re-enactment. Nice job with the uniforms! (except one, which did look more like a marching band uniform than a war uni).

I'm on AIM for the rest of the night, so if you are bored, give me a ping. (or lmk what you're id is if you don't know mine - mine is my actual name, so I hesitate to post it here).
