She's all checked in, excited, and in good spirits. She's doing brief dialysis now, and will likely start surgery between 11am and 2pm (they're aiming for the former). It could be 10 or 12 hours for the surgery.
I might not get a chance to update until late tonight. If for some reason I wind up staying there and can't post, or if there are any developments during the day, or if the cosmic balance says it's her turn to post, I'll try to contact hopeforyou to make a post. Failing that, I'll make a phone post to jodawi late tonight. Or something completely different, but mostly the same.
