When did you first discover Fullmetal Alchemist?
I guess about late fall/early winter of 2006. It was on Adult Swim at the time.
Are you happy you discovered FMA?
Oh HELL YES!!! It has given me so many good times, so many new friends, and many new opportunities!

Yes, as much as I can. I just did yesterday, in fact.
Sub or dub?
I know some people will not like this, but the dub. when I first got into anime, I wanted to know and understand what was going on, and I was used to watching the dubs on Adult Swim, so I watched only the dubs for a long time. I have seen some episodes of FMA in Japaneese, but not all of them.
What do you think of the movie? The OVAs?
Again, this isn't popular, but I liked the movie. I liked that it wrapped up the loose details. Call it the obsessive compulsive in me, but I like things to be wrapped up and finished. The OVA's are cute, though pretty OOC. They even made Envy cute. I didn't think it was possible!
What about the manga? Do you read it?
I do, though it is a lot harder to keep up with. I am trying to read it all again because honestly there are a lot of different things. For a while I thought it was kinda slowing down, but now that it is starting to wrap up a little, I am excited to see what happens! (HAVOC! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!)
Which episode is the best?
Well, the best is so subjective, but I love episodes 5- the first glimpse of Hughes, 13-Flame vs Fullmetal (hilarious! and canon frottage!! WOOOO HAVOC!), 25- Sooo soooo sad... Hughes. :(, and 50 and 51. Oh yeah, and 37 of course. Poor Havoc.
Which episode is the worst?
I really didn't like Episode 35, with Lujon. I dont think it really moved the story along at all. And Episode 4 with Majahal. It moves the plot a little, but still there were ways it could have been moved along without that particular episode.
Did you cry at any point in the series/movie/OVA/manga?
Well, no, but that isn't really fair, because it really takes alot for me to cry. I was really close in Episode 25 though.
The best opening/ending song?
I always loved "Ready Steady Go" as an opening song, and "Rewrite" as the ending song.
Who’s your most favorite character?
It was Hughes at first, and then someone *cough* turned me onto Havoc, damnit!
Who’s your least favorite character?
Winry, or anime!Wrath.
Which character do you think is the most misunderstood?
Gluttony. All the poor guy wants to do is eat!!! (And maybe Scar as well)
Which character is the most under-rated?
I have to say Gluttony again. I have a soft spot for the guy.
Which character has the worst past?
I think it is a three way tie between Ed and Al, Roy, and Scar. They all had death in thier pasts.
Is Ed actually short?
Yes. I read somewhere he is about 4 foot 11 inches. that is short. Of course I am only 5 foot 3 inches, so I can relate.
So... do the Homunculi have souls or not?
*TECHNICALLY* no, they don't. That is actually canon. But one could argue the semantics of what constitutes a soul. But the short answer is no.
Do you like Dante?
Not really, no.
Do you hate Winry?
Well, no, not really, but she is an important part of the story, so I can understand her being there.
What about Rose?
Not especially, but I like her more than Winry or Dante.
Would you go on a date with Havoc?
Oh God yes, please please please! (I apologize to my husband for that)
Do you consider Scar a hero or a villain?
Well, technically he is a villain, because he killed A LOT of people.. But he had a tragic past and a skewed sense of wrong and right, so it isn't really as cut and dry as just a hero or just a villain.
What was your first impression of Armstrong?
OMG, he is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!

Well, both are sadistic bastards. But I would say Kimbley because he is human and he should know better. He has a conscience and yet still did what he did.
Did you like Hughes better after he died?
No more than I already did, which was A WHOLE HELLUVA LOT! Poor Hughes!

Not really any more than I already did, which again was alot. I was sad that he died though.
Did you like Pride better before you found out he was a Homunculus?
Yes, actually. He seemed like the nice, grandfatherly type, but then we figured out that it was for a reason. I hated that.
If you were Roy, would you have killed Winry’s parents under orders?
I doubt that I would have the courage to say to to my superior officers, so I would unfortunately have to say yes.
Was Hohenheim justified in leaving Envy after he created him, or was Dante the better parent?
I don't think either of them were really good parents so neither of them were "better" parents.
Why does Al wear a loincloth?
I would have to go back to the first episode, but I think the suit of armor had one when Ed put Al's soul into it.

Not sure, maybe to hide a HUGE package underneath there? HAHA!
Did you think Envy was a girl the first time you saw him?
When I saw it, I thought it looked like a guy, though not a very masculine one. Since it was Hoenheim's son (since we learn that at the very end of the anime), wouldn't it be a guy? Of course I could tell that the (sub) voice was female, though husky.
Who’s the best side character?
Does Havoc count? I guess not. Then I would have to say Fuery. He is so cute and geeky!

Fletcher. I dunno why, but he grates me. Though he is kinda cute and nice.

Winry, maybe? I just never warmed up to her.

Again, it is the same as Tucker. I see where he was coming from, but he killed A LOT of people. that is unforgivable.

I really don't like them. It is SO rare that an OC is done well. It has happened, but more often than not it just is terrible.

As long as it is set in the universe, then yeah. Let's face it, most fan fiction by its very nature is somewhat AU, unless someone copies the anime or manga EXACTLY, then it isn't really their fiction at all.

Yes, but only if it is involves Roy and either Hughes and/or Havoc. Threesome please!!!!
Do you think people write Envy OOC most of the time?
Not always, but most of the time.. It is a hard character. I haven't ever tried to write it.

Ed x Win, especially in the manga! (though I am not a fan, see above)

Even though I personally like Roy x Hughes better Roy x Hawkeye is more canon, again, just look at the recent manga chapters!

I doubt that she would ever TOTALLY open up to anyone, save maybe Hoenheim.

I think Envy is asexual. All it wants is pain, not love.

Well Royai, is semi-canon (in the manga). Other than that, I wish Ross and Brosh would be a couple. Brosh liked Ross, but she dind't like him back. It was a one sided semi-canon pairing (in the anime).

Roy x Hughes, at least before Hughes got married. He would never cheat after getting married and Roy would never ask him to after he got married.
