Percy hadn't expected to get an Iris message from Tyson of all people tonight. But, getting to see and talk with his half brother hadn't been all that bad. Tyson was still busy working for their dad and he seemed happy about it. The work was hard and he was tired but he was happy and Percy was happy for him.
Tyson asked about things at school and Percy kept things vague. He didn't mention Luke or Nico or anything like that. He didn't want Tyson to worry and fall down on the work he seemed to love. At the end of the conversation, Tyson asked if Percy was going to visit and Percy promised he'd try.
When the message ended, Percy continued sitting in the dark, listening to his fountain run while he thought about a few things.
