Holes
After my first surgery of the morning, I head back out to the board. Just to double check and make sure my surgeries are still in order and nothing has changed. I nod with approve as I stand there, studyin gthe white board.
Today has been much better day than yesterday, but I cringe a little when I see Aubrey's name on the board for my surgery this afternoon. I knew she'd be scrubbing in at some point today, I was just hoping I could avoid it.
I head over to the nurses station to get a patient's chart, opting to just shake the Aubrey thing off for now. Maybe things will be better in the light of today. At least I can hope for that.
I see Dr. Burke standing at the nurses station with a few charts spread out in front of him. "Burke," I greet. I feel like I haven't seen him in forever.
