Getting through the hospital without being seen or recognized isn't exactly easy. I've got the collar of my jacket pulled up and I'm keeping my head down and the pain in my chest is making it hard to navigate the halls with a steady step. I stumble through the hospital and towards the MOB before heading up the elevators to the second floor. A nurse looks at me curiously but I shrug it off and keep going until I find Burke's office.
The woman behind the desk takes one look at me and tries to force me into a wheelchair to go to the emergency room but I demand that she pages him to the office instead. She pushes me towards the exam rooms instead, telling somebody with urgency in her tone to page him and I lay on the small exam table while I wait.
I hope he's quick because I'm fairly certain that I'm having another heart attack.
