sliding scale/inexpensive vasectomy?
My partner and I do not want children and we are looking for a doctor to do a vasectomy. Unfortunately, he was laid off and I work retail while waiting to hear back about grad school. He'll also be going back to school soon. Therefore, very little cash and no insurance. Apparently these things cost $350 or so, which we do not have and probably wont have for awhile.
I found one program awhile ago that was offering free surgeries to low income men but we haven't heard back.
Does anyone have any other resources? Perhaps there's a place that will work on a sliding scale or a payment plan? Any experiences?
