looking for two rooms in september?

i've sucked craigslist dry for now, and i didn't know where else to turn to.
my best friend is moving from florida to seattle on the 30th, and we're hoping to be going through the motions of moving by the 1st of september. we're looking for two rooms around the $450 range in a house somewhere reasonably close to some seattle city civilization. i live in bellevue now, so i'm up for anything that's not beige. i have a cat, and he smokes (my friend -- not the cat).
i've always looked for apartments -- not houseshares. where else would i look for something that would suit us/our price/time frame? is there anything local?
