Where can I sell a diamond ring?

Where can I sell a diamond ring in Seattle? (It's an engagement ring, used, Canadian diamond bought at Ben Bridge Jewelers, who don't do buy-back).

Alternatively, where can I donate it?

Please only suggest places that you *know* buy back used diamonds. Thanks!

Any particular reason you're asking?

Ah I see.

Private selling is a little too emotional for me, I would rather sell to a jeweler or something impersonal like that.

If selling it to an individual is too emotional for you, you're not ready to part with it.

A jeweler will not give you even half of what the ring is worth, so if you need money more than you need to get rid of it you really need to suck it up.

There's always online: http://www.idonowidont.com

if you do a private sale, it's probably worth your while to get a neutral appraisal.
