U-District or Wallingford Liquor stores

I want to purchase some really nice scotch for a friend of mine, and normally I have no reason to go to a liquor store, and I haven't lived in the area long, so I'm a little unfamiliar with it. Where might I find a good shop in the U-District or Wallingford that will have a good selection of fine scotch? (I *really* don't want to have to ride a bus just to get this gift, so please, just those neighborhoods.)
