I tried so hard to get some Sex Pistols in, but they didn't work at all... I had a load of stuff I tried, but too much punk is either insulting to the supposed love interest or too on-the-nose for anything Spike would have thought he could got away with sending Buffy (anything boasting about a girlfriend was so not happening...). Hence my strangely limited repertoire!

You'd think some of them would have relationships they were trying to pursue! (Though, of course, part of the reason I like punk is that the lyrics are rarely about love... Did you know The Adverts' first album has nothing about romantic relationships at all? Serial killers' eyes, yes, potential girlfriends, no.)

:D Thanks! There possibly aren't that many, but it's popped up at least, erm, twice or three times in maybe nine year of reading fic... (That's lots, right? I'm counting that as lots. ;) ) I wanted to play with my musics.

Nah - this fictional vampire's tastes are somewhat a projection of mine anyway (don't tell anyone!)... Though, of course, the next step is convincing the world that Spike likes contemporary noise-electro!
