wedding!
the wedding was amazing! hawaii is so far away, and it meant so much to me to have some of my oldest friends travel all the way here to celebrate with us...
i have discovered that i would be the WORST wedding planner ever. EVER. hehe. we forgot so many things...and yet somehow it all came together in the end. i heard after the wedding that the ring bearer was lost in the hotel for quite a while before we got started, which ended up being half an hour late, anyway. (just for the record, the wedding was supposed to be at 3pm and i was ready by 2:15!) anywho, the ceremony was even better than i imagined, and kevan looked incredible...and of course all the bridesmaids and groomsmen were totally gorgeous. :o)
the reception also started pretty late, and it was touch and go for a while. my brother and sister were MIA when we were supposed to be getting into the limos to go to the reception hall, and once we got there nobody knew what was going on. hehe. we finally got in, we all grabbed beer and wine, and everyone was happy for a while...until nothing started. kevan stepped up and got things started, and from then on it was smooth sailing. what a guy - he's definitely not scared of the microphone.
anyway, it all turned out even better than i could have imagined, mostly because our families went above and beyond getting it all ready. they all saved the day!
the honeymoon was SO relaxing and wonderful...if only it had been longer! it made me wish we could retire already. :o)
now all i have left are thank you notes, so i promise not to freak out about wedding stuff on livejournal ever again! huzzah!
