volcano!!
the volcano is going nuts! well, not exactly, but it's completely changed its MO. kevan and i are going down to keep an eye on it tonight (ALL night), and then he leaves for Kauai in the morning. then it'll be me all by my lonesome until next wednesday when i leave...i'm REALLY hoping that this whole new thing with the eruption doesn't keep people from coming to our wedding! there were only a few work people coming, but some of them are very important people when it comes to eruption response, and i'd feel terrible if something happened while they were gone. oh well.
it's only 11 days to the wedding! ack! and the volcano had to act up now, of all times? not to mention the lava (which has been accessible for visitors to see at the surface for quite some time now) stopped flowing from Pu'u O'o the day conrad and joe arrived, leaving them with no lava to see. very sad. at least there's lots of other cool volcano stuff going on!
ps - i still fit into my dress! huzzah!!!
