Chance (and not as in luck)

So, we have a young stalker around our house by the name of Chance.

Chance is approximately 7-9 years old (I have trouble determining kids' ages). He lives across the street from us. Chance's home life is obviously not great. He lives with about 6 or 7 people in his grandmother's house with no parents and no other children.

Anyway, Chance showed up on our doorstep about 2 weeks ago. Pants answered the door. He asked "do you have any kids that I can play with?". Pants said that we didn't; all we had was cats. So, he asked "can I pet your cats?". So, he was allowed in.

Once inside, Chance started chasing Marzipan (one of our cats) around the house so that he could pet her. His roaming made it upstairs before we could stop him. So, he was poking around the bedrooms. We quickly closed the door to the basement so that he couldn't run down there and then herded him towards the door. It was obvious that he wasn't going to leave voluntarily, so we had to corner him right at the door before he would leave.

Just before leaving, Chance asked why we had an extra bedroom upstairs if we didn't have any other kids (as if we might actually be holding out on him).

Anyway, Chance has shown up on our doorstep a number of other times since then. We have not allowed him inside. Normally, he just asks whether he can pet our cats.

However, on Saturday, Chance came over and asked "do you have an Xbox?". We do and I had just finished playing it minutes before he rang. I said that we did, so he asked "can I play on it?". I said no that we were leaving and that he couldn't come in.

Since then, he's been back twice more. The second last time he asked to play the Xbox I told him that we couldn't have children in our house (which I thought would stop him). However, earlier today when exiting our vehicle Chance literally sprinted down the street and asked us whether he could play our Xbox (obviously the answer was a stern no).

It's obvious that Chance has been looking in our basement windows and I have seen him trying the neighbours' doorknob when they aren't in. I'm not really sure if I should go over to his house and tell his grandma what he's been up (who doesn't seem to care what he's doing anyway).

A very sad, annoying situation.
