Lightning Round: Potpourri
1) A story from Sabrina's neck of the woods.
2) My guitar came yesterday. Now to figure out how to get the tremelo working. Note: I still love my delicious bass to death, and it's still my instrument of choice (for instance, I'm actually able to play it), but the desire to rock out is just too strong not to have the avenue open to me.
3) Okay, you primitive screwheads Rocky fanatics; listen up! Get down! Do a little twirl! Eviscerate a rhesus monkey!
Now that you've demonstrated you have no shame and are susceptible to suggestion, I invite anyone who has the time/wherewithal to come to Chicago and check out one of the Rocky showings that will be held in Chicago this weekend.

If you are interested, the samurai fest extends to Thursday, March 9th. There is also a sick and twisted animation midnight show going on every weekend until March 18th. Then, Rocky Horror is playing at midnight on March 24&25, April 28&29, and May 26&27. Transformers the movie (80's version!) is playing at midnight on May 5,6,12,13. Finally, Monty Python and the Holy Grail is playing at midnight on May 19, 20, 26, and 27.
[EDIT] More info! The show is at the Music Box Theatre on the dates listed above, starring the Midnight Madness cast. I guess they had been on hiatus or something. It is most decidedly NOT in Rosemont, however...
4) The next Don't Hang Me beta release should be done this week. I'm still debugging, and I'm THIS close to figuring out why the "Release" version won't run. I hope. Also, I have all kinds of crazy logging enabled now, so people who download it will actually be able to send back useful information to me in a pre-arranged format!
5) I'm listening to a lot of The Darkness, and I really, REALLY want a new album...
