Where do I find out what's coming? A quick guide.

I get asked, a lot, about what I have coming out. Where can it be found, where is the schedule, has something been published, has something been sold. Which is incredibly flattering, honestly-what author doesn't want to have people beating down her door to find out where they can get more stories?-but can also lead to that thing where I have ( Read more... )

"Indexing is not currently listed, because there is no "serials" category; I'm still trying to figure out how to deal with that."

If you don't plan on doing future serials, Indexing could probably wait until it is complete and listable in the Novels category. It might become cumbersome to have things under Serials for a time, the move them to Novels when they're complete and published as a whole. Or it could be cool. Or cumbersome AND cool. Or cause for confusion and more questions... arrg!

Hence the need to figure it out. :) I'll probably wait and just list it as a novel; I don't want to make entries for every. Single. Installment.

And each installment is so conveniently listed as it comes out on the Amazon product page, anyway. So the information is out there for those who seek it.

Since Indexing is not her first serial (Sparrow Hill Road, Velveteen) it likely isn't her last either.

It is the first serial for which I have been paid, with a set end date, that was guaranteed to become a single volume.

You are technically correct. The best KIND of correct! (hey - any day I can quote Futurama is bound to be a good day.)

I was specifically thinking of the Kindle serials/for pay serials in my original comment, rather than free fiction. If memory serves, both the Sparrow Hill Road and Velveteen vs. were listed on the Online Fiction page, rather than the Bibliography page. Velveteen vs. is still on the Online Fiction page for the original stories, and is now also listed under Novels in the Bibliography as well (YAY!!), but Sparrow Hill Road is no longer to be found on either page. Sometime in the coming year it will show up under Novels, a highly and happily anticipated event. :-D
