People are asking me if I'm alive. Yes, but only in the barest sense of the word. I'm in deep distress and some degree of physical pain now, and have been for the last three days or so.
This too, shall pass. Or so they tell me.
I've been working on my campaign. Working too hard, some might say, but with a shitty job and nothing new in sight, I need something positive to put my excess energies into.
Just too much.
I'm also trying to help people. Well, help everyone it seems. People keep coming to me for help, and no one has bothered to even ask me how I'm doing. This is aimed at no one in particular, as the prime offenders don't even read LJ that often. I'm just tired. And ranting. And thirsty. And a variety of other feelings not suitable for LJ.
I just want to talk to someone about my problems, but I want to help everyone else even moreso, and I'm ignoring my own issues.
And then there's this . . .
I Am A: Chaotic Good Halfling Mage
Alignment:
Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.
Race:
Halflings are short and fat, like minuature people. (Think 'Hobbits') They enjoy the easy life, but aren't averse to the idea of an adventure from time to time. They get along with all races, and are known for their senses of humor. Halflings also tend to be light of foot, and can move quietly when necessary.
Primary Class:
Monks are strange and generally not understood by the world at large. They live apart from people, and follow strict codes that restrain their behavior and lifestyle. They have an exceptionally calm outlook on life, and generally do not resort to violence unless absolutely necessary. Even when they do, their code of conduct forbids the use of all weapons - except their hands. As such, monks are extremely skilled at hand-to-hand combat, and no other style.
Secondary Class:
Mages harness the magical energies for their own use. Spells, spell books, and long hours in the library are their loves. While often not physically strong, their mental talents can make up for this.
Deity:
Tymora is the Chaotic Good goddess of luck and good fortune. She is also known as Lady Luck, and also Tyche's fair-tressed daughter. Followers of Tymora believe in the tenent that, 'Fortune Favors the Bold,' and will throw caution to the wind and trust to luck to work things out for the best. Tymora's symbol is an unmarked silver disk.

NeppyMan (e-mail) Now don't get me wrong. I like halflings. One of my best friends is a halfling character when she campaigns. But there's something that I am, and it is neither halfling, nor monk mage.
I am a cleric. Preferably a cleric of Olidammara (god of thieves and rogues) and a human. That is how I see myself. What the hell is this shit?
Grr.
National Steak and Blowjob day is March 13. Just a reminder.
Seamus out.
