In my short time of blogging, I've tended to focus on negative reactions to my circumstances (first I noticed it and then The Girl confirmed it). I do appreciate many of God's blessings in my life. For example, the McRib. I enjoyed an incredible faux-meat sandwich today that, while sure to take five years off my life, was delicious. And group games, like Cranium and Taboo, are wonderful. I find though that they are more entertaining if you play to disrupt them, or at least guess in different categories. Not only is it distracting to the other team, but it provides an unexpected source of enjoyment. Of course, Steadfast love and the Faith Family/community are good too. But (as pointed out in other areas) a serious post would be unacceptable this early in my career. So we'll put true praise and gratitude on hold for a bit and focus and the little joys of life.
