Sales advice sought.
We need to sell our gas clothes dryer. We bought it in June of '09, new, when we moved into the Big Blue and anticipated being there a lot longer. Obviously, that didn't happen, and the house we're in for at least the next three years has electric hookups (and a dryer already in that we eventually plan to replace with a more energy-efficient model). We have no money for advertising, and there are a few places around that would buy it for parts, but I suspect we'll get a better price if we sell it to someone who actually wants to use it.
I'm eyeing craigslist, but are there other places anyone would recommend? Where would you look if you wanted to buy such a thing gently used? Alternatively, if you know someone in the Tampa area looking for a newish gas dryer with steamcare options, who has their own means of transporting it to their preferred location (we have small cars), feel free to have them drop me a line at seajulesrun @ gmail dot com.
