The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with a friend last week.

It's really amazing how they made Pitt and Blanchett younger. The effects that made the actors young again are just as stunning as those that made them older. Taraji P. Henson shines too as Benjamin's warm and loving mother.

I can't say that the movie is perfect, it dragged a bit in some parts, especially the ones that showed him still aged. Pitt did a good job with the part, though he didn't really have to do much for Benjamin is a quiet character.

Very touching..I have listed some of my favorite quotes from the movie below:

"You can be mad as a mad dog at the way things went; you can swear and curse the fates - but when it comes to the end, you have to let go."

"For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again."

"We’re meant to lose the people we love. How else are we supposed to know how important they are?"

Benjamin: "I was thinking how nothing lasts, and what a shame that is."

Daisy: "Some things last."

"It's funny how sometimes the people we remember the least make the greatest impression on us. "

"Sometimes we’re on a collision course, and we just don’t know it. Whether it’s by accident or by design, there’s not a thing we can do about it."

"I wanna remember us just as we are now."

"Your life is defined by its opportunities… even the ones you miss."

I would love to go see it again.
