i (paid someone to) cut off my hair yesterday. i was anxious at first, but as soon as it was off my head, i felt better. now it is short and fun, with bangs pushed to one side and little tendrils that curl under my jaw in the front

Hair that's been cut off is so creepy. When I hacked all mine off they gave me the ponytails, and it was really weird. While it was attached to my head I loved it and I wasn't freaked out by it at all, but once it's not attached to your head anymore it's kind of like a dead animal.
