i (paid someone to) cut off my hair yesterday. i was anxious at first, but as soon as it was off my head, i felt better. now it is short and fun, with bangs pushed to one side and little tendrils that curl under my jaw in the front.
i have almost two feet of hair in a ponytail curled in a yellow paper bag at the foot of my bed. i take it out to show people, but for some reason, it kind of scares me. it's like a snake that once grew out of my head.
