Wise Jago asked me, "Where does the Easter Bunny get the toys he gives to kids?" If Santa's toys are made by elves, who makes the Easter Bunny's toys? I had to tell him I didn't know.

Also, he believes the Easter Bunny is not an actual bunny, but a man in a bunny costume.

Jago has two nicknames for Miela, that I truly don't know where they came from.

Sometimes be calls her Beeber.

Sometimes he calls her Wub Dub.

Somewhere along the way, Jago learned the concept of yoga poses, that there's this exercise movement thing you can do, and certain movements have names, like Bridge Pose or Cobra Pose, or whatever ( Read more... )

Conversation I had with Jago today, while he was watching me paint trim in the study.

Jago: When I grow up, I wanna be a teacher.
Me: What do you wanna teach?
Jago: Kids.
Me: What do you want to teach them?
Jago: I will teach them how to read and how to paint the walls on the outside of the school.

Example of Jago sweetness:

Yesterday at the playground Jago introduced his sister to another kid:

"This is my baby. We named her Miela Joy. Isn't she beautiful!" Followed by a great big suffocating hug.
